Truth in Food is a production of Food-Chain Communications. Food-Chain Communications is a marketing communications firm devoted to helping food-chain stakeholders communicate more effectively in today's modern food system. If you touch food directly or indirectly on its path to the consumer, you must communicate better than ever. One of the gaping weaknesses in our modern food system is the lack of communication between stakeholders. Although we produce a safe and abundant product, the chain has traditionally operated within separate silos, a collection of parts rather than a synergistic chain. At Food-Chain Communications we've traversed the entire food chain and interacted with people from production agriculture through to grocery retailing. This unique view enables us to carve out a strategy that ensures both your short and long-term success, strategy that may include:

  • Marketing strategy that can carry you through, informing the rest of the food-chain infrastructure of the value you pose to the overall food equation.
  • Creative that illustrates the difference between getting your idea seen and getting it ignored. Between profit and loss. Ideas are currency, and a single one can transform your business.
  • Involvement or experiential marketing designed to overcome the natural separation at points where people naturally gather together. Close the lack of communication between stakeholders.

Farmer Goes to Market

Food-Chain Communications helps bring the farmer's message to the retail grocers of key states through its "Farmer Goes to Market" campaign, consisting of individualized monthly state e-mail newsletters and collateral customized websites. And the results? Message open and click-through rates two to three times higher than industry averages. That's meaningful engagement.
